The Siberian marathon starts and finishes in downtown Omsk,
a city founded three centuries ago. The course
makes two loops on flat, paved, and traffic-free roads along
the central streets and embankments of the Irtysh River. This
makes for splendid viewing and with the hospitality of the
Russian people, every effort is made to make this an event
to remember.
The marathon course has been measured in accordance with
the AIMS regulations. "We do our best to make this event
unforgettable for everybody, so those who do take the time
and trouble to come to the Siberian land will be awarded with
the hospitality of Russian people. Why not take the opportunity
to see all those things for yourself."
Omsk is renowned for its cultural splendours and historic
buildings, so making the journey to these Siberian lands will
settle firmly in your memory, allowing you to rekindle thoughts
of a wonderful event in wonderful surroundings.
