The
Paris Marathon is pushing hard to join the ranks of
the cities who re labeled 'Big City' marathons. The
amount of participants certainly puts them in that category
and the course, through the streets of the 'City of
Love' and along the banks of the River Seine, make this
event a remarkable experience.
This is certainly an event to run
and should not missed at any costs, make sure Paris
becomes your April marathon.
On
the marathon week-end the event also hosts the Marathon
Expo as well as large pasta party.
Under the provisions of
the French National Assembly law passed on March 23,
1999,all French or non-French runners, are required
to produce proof of their fitness to participate in
running competitions. Such proof must be in the form
of a medical certificate issued by a doctor following
a medical examination.
