Despite the heat and humidity it was controlled and felt easy, Hr only crept up again last KM otherwise was steady between 130-135.
The foot, whilst not completely better is good enough, it’s more of a nerve type problem I think. No issues on the flats, more on the climbs. I changed the footstrike to a toe strike for the first three km which helped a bit until the legs got tired. Still not completely used to that even though I have been working in my ‘runficiency’ for a few weeks.
Foot should be ok, will just have to deal with it, it’s not sore, just s strange feeling like I stated before.
The rest has done me good and you can see that the resting HR is now getting down towards the old levels.
Should be back to normal now for rest of cycle. Feeing good after today, hopefully stay fresh and give myself a shot at a sub 50 next weekend.
