I think you need to make the decision as to whether you would like to discuss with them whether they would like to adapt their training to the 10k programs we provide or whether to simply slot in with what they are doing
the sessions we provide are to achieve a goal and have a high success ratio
so you need to decide what you would like to do things
the 10 x 400m session occurs in the 3rd week of the cycle and you could change that session to a Monday, however the 5 x 2000 and 6 x 1000 are not something that can be replaced by 300's and 400's
