I ran the 5k last saturday, got 23min21s which I was fairly happy about I didn't have my HR monitor with me, but it felt like I wasn't as gassed as before when maintaining that fast of a pace.
Sunday was a rest day and I continued with the training program afterwards. Seems like the 5k meshed pretty nice with that since it was on the same day as the 3x2k. :tonguepop:
On monday I did an easy 1h30min run @ 6'03"/km pace. Yesterday and Today I ran a couple of easy 6kms since I've got a pretty nice route mapped for that distance. I'm wondering should I go straight ahead with the 5x1k set tomorrow? I've still got good amount of time before my race and I'm also wondering should I finish the training program this time or restart the cycle one more time before the race? The exact time of my 10k race is 30.10 so if I counted right I could easily squeeze in one restart.
