HI fabre, the 2k session is speed endurance
the 1k session is more the development of 5k speed
if your 4k time-trial gets quicker then all your other speed areas are developed
The 2k session is the most important session to teach you how to maintain pace
you can race the 5k and 10k
if you want to, you can do 1 week of easy 1hr runs, if you feel you need a break?
