Just to keep you posted, I'm halfway (10 days) through the build up, enjoying the one hour runs, the great weather is helping, winter hasn't rocked up yet, still mid 20s at the moment. Going to do the first 5x8min tomorrow, 75% effort sounds like somewhere around marathon pace to me? I'm gonna do it by feel anyway, finding that my body is finding the correct effort at the moment and feeling stronger with every run, no fast though but that will come back.
Just wanted to follow up on your thoughts re the morning AM runs?
