My 60 minute run turned out to be more than it probably should have. I started out at an easy pace for the first mile, about 8 minutes. Then I picked it up and stuck with that pace for a while. Before I knew it I had run 5k in about 22:00. I stuck with it because I was feeling good. I finished 10k in 43:45. I finished with a cool down jog for 10 minutes.
So I went just over 60 minutes but I also did a sub 45:00 10k within that. I know that was too fast for a training run but what should I do to recover before my race on Sunday now?
