Hi k4m, that was only inexperience, so it is good to get that out the way
you could consider a 2k session this week .. 4 x 2k in 4.45 per k with 2 minutes Rest .. you should find this session suitable and once we have the feedback we can plot the run down to the event (session Wednesday)
The HALF race will be a lot better as you will pace yourself better, knowing about the fast start
