It has been a long time from an update on me. Had a couple of issues since then - a bad flu which knocked me out for two weeks and a reaction to my first Covid Vaccine which also knocked me out of action for a week
This has left me starting the base phase again in an attempt to build up some endurance.
Started this phase last week, and will continue with the process for another couple of weeks. I’ve no races planned as yet, but would really like to target 5K / 10K PBs as things start to open up again. We have no date in Northern Ireland yet for the return of parkrun, but would like to get a good level of fitness into me for its return.
Will keep you posted on my progress before starting the three-week programmes again - if that’s ok?
