TheEd (or should it be Coach).....
The knees I am not worried about, but the groin is a different matter, the pain was a warning sign, not just a niggle......I won't let it stop the training, just don't want it to go completely, as it has in the past and have to spend time on the physio's table again......especially as I am enjoying the training sessions now.
Had a few too many beers yesterday afternoon, and feeling a little worse for it this morning, once the alcohol is out of my system, I will do a very easy run with the dogs and report back how everything is........got more aches now than I had yesterday after the run, but this is definately self inflicted.......
The body will have to get used to the long runs, as I aim to complete the Liverpool half marathon next march, but we can leave that until after my main target run in October......
I have signed up for the City of Salford 10K which is two weeks from today, so we can chart my progress since starting the cycles, I expect to achieve my first target of going sub 45 minutes. It is too soon to hit my second target of sub 42 minutes, that will come with time, and maybe in October......
Enjoy the weekend.....
