yeah I guess this is a pb, I ran 40. 24 lasts season but on another race.
I will probably not to continue to follow the program in the nearest future, not because I don't like it (it's great) but because my basketballseason starts in about a month and I really need to work on maximum explosivity and mobility for my legs rather than endurance for 15km/h in 40 min.
I don't even think I'll run any more competitions this year, I haven't planned it anyway.
During the season I will have 3 scheduled practices per week (will probably be even more) with basketball and since the court is no longer than 28 m, acceleration will be far more important than the ability to maintain speed.
I might perform 1 or 2 cycles during the winter since there is only 1 game between mid nov - mid jan, but I will most definitley continue to run next summer from april. Other than that do you have any tips on how to maintain the shape more than my basketballpractices? If I have only 1 or 2 opportunities to run per week, then what should I focus on? long runs or shorter intervals (1 or 2 km)?
