Hi TheEd,

I am recovering well from my op and feel like I am ready to start running again, unfortunately I have been told to wait another two weeks, so will be looking at the off training after Easter Monday.......

This no training and no exercising is not good, especially when I feel there is nothing stopping me running or at least cycling at the mo.....:confused:

Well, just as I was looking forward to starting running again, I have been hit with a kidney infection.......grrrrrr.

Oh well, another few days isn't going to kill me..... hahaha

Off Period training Started today......

6km completed @ 5:46/km. Nice and easy.....

Almost a week in to the training and all is going well so far......

Unfortunately I have done something stupid, I have agreed to run in the Paris Marathon next year, which means I will have to stick with the combination of half marathon and 10k training for the next 6-9 months before upping my distances for the Marathon next April...... When will I learn.... :duh:

We have plans to be booting up marathon programs soon but more importantly a program for those who have been training consistently on the 10k programs.

So all is not lost
