the 200m track does not allow you to build up speed effectively .. so just make the most of doing the session
as for the core sessions .. what exactly do you do for the sessions and then we can see if it is best for the once or twice a week sessions
also note that running onb a tight track will make the shoulders and upper body feel more tight as you working far harder to balance ans drive
