this time of year is always difficult .. are you intentionally running slow or is this the current state of your situation?
look to run quicker for now, even if it is every 2nd day to recover between the sessions
for a person aspiring to a 40 minute 10k, you should be cruising at 6 minutes per k at around 140 bpm
please provide feedback, as mentioned, this time of year aint fun
