Allright! Yes, suppose both the soccer legs (as you correctly assume) and my fathers "short distance" genes (he ran actively in his youth, most 100-400 meters, I think) contribute to this ![Smile Smile](https://www.time-to-run.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.png)
I ran 60 meter 7.36 in my teens if I remember right. No doubt I have a "shorter distance" nature. So.. Maybe not the marathon is for me. That will be saved for later, anyway.
As for the rest / recovery, I suppose some easy shorter runs are acceptable. If not, you better tell me
