What's a good warm-up to do before a 5K? And if the race is longer, say a 10K, then does the warm-up need to be different than that for a 5K?

This one works good for me (it comes from Jack Daniels):
15 a 20 min steady running (tempo pace (20sec slower then 10k pace) 3 a 5 strides (100m) at expected race pace, warm up until the start is given ! |
