Please find below the 5K paced run splits. The focus was on having a good form until Km-4 and then accelerate in a controlled manner. The last split was at 90-95% effort as I did remember your words to not peak before the race.
I hope I can maintain this pace for the second half of the race. I did have enough left in my tank for another 3K.Not sure about the last 2K.I would be glad to finish under 50.

The 10k race is on Sunday Dec 27.As you have suggested earlier, I plan to follow the program until Tue(Fartlek session).Wed -rest, followed by the30min ease on Thu & Fri.Saturday rest and race on Sunday.
Please let me know if I can alternate the Wed rest with 6* 1min@ race pace with 1 min easy?

Goal-2 : Sub 47
I plan to start cycle-2 as a repeat of the sub 50 cycle with below change
3*2k @ 4.45 /k
5*1. @ 4.35/k
Please let me know your thoughts if this would enable me to achieve my goal-2.
