Hi TheEd -
I have had 2 physio sessions and the calf is mending.
To be totaly honest my early lack of patience in letting things rest and heal, has led to the injury lingering. I agravated it by too many "try out out runs". I think the approaching race clouded my judgement. I have learned alot from this though and will deal with things better next time. I thank you for your (correct) advice and I will listen closer in future ...
It is pain free today and feels good. I hope to run easy on treadmill later in the week after a few days break / swimming.
I am excited about starting out with new race goals and building up to a new level of fitness.
Best wishes ... Dave
