The Tel Aviv Marathon trip continued
well here I was in the plush surroundings of the InterContinental David, which is part of the ICH Group, just in case such matters interests you, that is.
Booked in; all rolling well and off on my way to the room that awaits.
Now, do realise, I am expecting a single room. Afterall; there is only singular me, though I did mention the whole time I was there, that the wife in fact takes the photos.
So, if the photos from the trip are lousy then let me reiterate, the wife normally takes the photos and she would really have liked to be there to do her photographic duty.
Into the room I go .. and oh my, where is the wife
Well this is just fine and the view is well better than OK
I unpacked the computer bag and took the pics from the room window and dutifully called the wife via Skype, to report in that I had arrived safely. And of course to get instructions on how to switch my mobile on.
Now do note, that when I left in the morning, it was a smart 4 degrees warm. And for me to now be showing the wife the view via Skype video, was best said; not too clever.
But; what can I say, being bright was never meant to be a forte.
I now had some hours to kill before having to meet in the reception. I would be meeting Sharon Lewis and 2 other guests who had also been invited to the Tel Aviv Marathon.
I dutifully logged onto the Time-to-Run Forums and began answering the questions relating to the 10k Training Programs in the 10k Feedback area.
And you can see by the image below, I was truly working.
No time to catch a quick snooze either. Time was drawing closer to getting out the door to meet the others

April 20, 2011 at 9:51 amExactly .. where was the wife?! Would have loved to have been there with you .. and taking the photos of course. Although, I think you did very well as a photographer.
There’s always hope for next year 😉
