Former star of the University of Arizona, Lawi Lalang, signs with the management of Global Sports Communication to help him further in his career. Lawi Lalang, who has won eight NCAA titles, added his last title last weekend by winning the 5000m in Eugene. He has a bright future in front of him having run 3:33.20 and 13:00.95 (8th fastest athlete of 2013) over the 1500m and 5000m.
Lawi’s main goal for 2014 is to further improve on these times and by doing so making himself a candidate for future World and Olympic Championships. He will remain coached by coach James Li who is his current coach at the University of Arizona.
Lawi Lalang: “My experience as a student athlete at the University of Arizona has enabled me be a better holistic individual both on and off the track because it has instilled me with discipline and hard work. I am both ready and grateful to embark on my new journey and explore my talent even more with the help of Global Sports Communication.”
