Entries for Safari Half Marathon to close - Newsroom - 17-04-2011
Entries for the 24th Safari Half Marathon close at midnight on Sunday the 17th of April; enter in store at Sportsmans Warehouse or enter online at afarihalfmarathon.co.za. Entrants can also collect an entry form from various sports stores across the Cape Peninsula and fax to 021 510 7230.
The Safari Half Marathon takes place on Monday the 2nd of May 2011 in the welcoming town of Wellington. Entrants can look forward to the 21.1km run, 2x10.5km relay, 10km walk and the 5km Fun Run. The Fancy Dress Competition is back and promises to be exciting with lots of fantastic prizes to be won.
You also stand a chance to win a luxury 2 night stay for two at the world famous Sanbona Wildlife Reserve when you donate to the Charity drives. Voor-Groenberg Primary School and the Blouvlei Primary School, two under resourced schools along the Safari Half Marathon route, are this yearââ¬â¢s charity beneficiaries. Support the charity drive by buying a pair of good quality Safari Half Marathon socks for only R25.

Enter for the 5km Fun Run on the day or pre-enter at safarihalfmarathon.co.za . The school with the most pre-entries will win a brand new computer. Entry fee only R15.00. Medal and Pepsi to every finisher.
The 21.1km Run and 2x10.5km relay starts at 07:15. The 10km Walk starts at 09:45. Join in the 5km Fun Run at 07:10.
