Nick Willis ran a personal best indoor mile of 3:53.02 to finish third in the famous Wanamaker Mile at one of the biggest indoor meetings of the USA indoor season.
The race won by Willis' friend and training partner Will Lear in 3:52.47. Willis bettered his indoor time of 3:53.54 set in Boston five years ago.
Lucy Van Dalen was sixth in the 3000m in a PB 8:53.95. Her previous best was three years ago in Boston where she ran 8:56.77.
