Grabouw Xterra Prize Money increases - TheEd - 29-01-2014 The organisers of South Africa’s most exciting off-road triathlon, the Totalsports XTERRA presented by REHIDRAT® SPORT are proud to announce that the prize purse for the South African Championships in Grabouw on Sunday, 23 February 2014 has increased by R100 000, more than doubling the 2013 figure. “The combined prize purse for the 2014 Totalsports XTERRA Grabouw Full presented by REHIDRAT® SPORT is now R162 500,” said a very excited Nicola Collins, Event Manager. “In addition to this exciting news, we are also happy to announce that prize money will be awarded to the top twenty finishers in both the men’s and women’s individual races. The Totalsports XTERRA SA Championships in Grabouw has grown to be the largest XTERRA in the world, with 3000 warriors expected to partake over the weekend. As part of our vision of growing the sport in South Africa, we would like the Totalsports XTERRA Grabouw to be a favourite race for pro XTERRA athletes in the global tour.
