New York City’s top high school cross country runners from the Public Schools Athletic League, Catholic High School Athletic Association and independent schools will compete for the title of “Best in the City” at the 10th annual NYC Mayor’s Cup Cross Country Championships on Sunday, October 6, 2–5pm at Van Cortlandt Park, across from 6121 Broadway in the Bronx. The championship races will be headlined by the nationally ranked Collegiate School (Manhattan) boys as they try and defend their NYC Mayor’s Cup title, while the St. John Villa Academy (Staten Island) girls will compete to win their fourth NYC Mayor’s Cup Cross Country Championship in a row.
