Recoveries - nichosu - 14-08-2009 Hi, New to the site but like the look of the schedules so going to give it a bash and see if it improves my times. I do have 2 questions though. 1) Are the recoveries standing or jog recoveries? 2) I train on the track on a Thursday evening with my club. If I follow the schedule exactly I will be doing the 2k intervals on a Thursday but the 1km's and 400m's on a Tuesday. Is it a problem if I switch these with the thursday runs on the schedule? Thanks Steve Recoveries - TheEd - 15-08-2009 Hi Steve and welcome for the recovery they are standing recoveries and a moment to sip some water, especially during the 2000's. and it is best to keep the 1000's on a Tuesday because the program is balanced in a way to take various components of the body's adaptation to the workload in to account - compensation and super compensation you will note the bulk of the training is during Day 3 to and including Day 8 Please ask further questions for clarity if needed TheEd |
