Cheers TheEd Need help!! - Rat66 - 23-07-2011 Hi TheEd, I am def along way off a sub 40 10k alrite.... So am i to follow the sub 45 10k prog. Just wondering would you recommend doing some sort of strength training one day a week?? Is it ok 2 do my sessions on grass?? What day should i start the prog.?? Need help!! - TheEd - 23-07-2011 you more than welcome to start on the sub 45 minute 10k program however on that schedule you only do 4 x 2k and not 5 use the structure of the sub 40 program and then we shall balance things for you .. if you are able to set-up to do the sessions on grass then that will be fine Day 3 is Thursday .. Day 1 Tuesday this weekend consider a 1hr run or your normal longer run over to you TheEd Need help!! - Rat66 - 23-07-2011 I'll start on the sub 40min prog. and see how i get on, what pace should my easy days be run at? What do u think of doing strength training on my rest days?? or doing it the morning of an easy run?? Need help!! - TheEd - 24-07-2011 for the first cycle rather not do any strength training, so we can get the balance of running sorted before adding some strength work cheers TheEd |
