Sure has been a bad time but 16 weeks to train for dublin! Want to put this little mess behind me and get ready for the cross country regards jon.

Hi Ed,
Just an update on what is going on.I think i can return to running at the start of next month.I think maybe a 3 week build up would be good to get me back into running at a low heart rate.Not sure how much fitness i have lost but did well with staying at 72kg not been easy eating small meals but kept my weight down.will start on the spin bike and see how things are regards jon.

Managed 40 minutes on a spin bike today which was great.Well i can say i will take baby steps back to fitness and really just be good to myself.I don't want any more of what i just had so easy easy and let it unfold regards jon.

just started the off period training as 30 minutes easy seems about right for me after a 3 week lay off.Hopefully the spin bike has held up so fitness but just so glad to be jogging/slow running regards jon.

good to have you running again, don't assess your running too much, if you run for 2 weeks without looking for performance, you should be able to come back nicely

Hi Ed,
Just a quick update to say that i am up to 45 mins a day easy running.At 140-145 bpm.What i would ask is it best to move to a 3 week build up next? Regards jon.

yes, the 3 week build-up should set you up to do a 4k t-t
