sub60 10k training - Paddy - 02-12-2015 hi TheEd.. sinds my last post where I did my 2 session.. I did all the trainings so far.. the 5x1k went very very wel. I stopt working now and try to do the runs now in the morning and directly after a core workout just simple some push ups sit ups pull ups and so on... works out great.. also I try to be as consistent as possible all the easy runs on hr140 or lower. they go real easy.. ps I come close to race day.. wel I don't have a race what should I do there?? do a 12 min test to see where I'm at?? or a 10k or 5k fast.. so far so good... paddy sub60 10k training - TheEd - 04-12-2015 great to hear you achieving consistency Paddy, excellent you can do a 4k time-trial to see your progress or a 5k hope that helps TheEd sub60 10k training - Paddy - 07-12-2015 hi TheEd. yeah thats finaly there .. that was not easy for me at all.. im gonna change now for 6 weeks to a other program just to get a bit change.. also becaus im dooing much more strength training after running yesterday i did a 5k.. but it was horrible.. so many beginner mistakes.. whaa i could shoot myself.. did 24mins 5k.. but i started way way to fast..so half way in i was done and it slowed me down very much.. not good not good... well at least i know what i did wrong i just miscaculated a bit lol.. paddy sub60 10k training - TheEd - 09-12-2015 still sub 25 minutes for 5k Paddy progress has been made TheEd |
