Didn't run since last tuesday, trying to improve from my calf. Today did a 13k run, last 3 k in around 4:45 min/k, but my left calf seems to have worsened. I'm very worried about. I keep on icing and elevating. Rgds. Héctor Half marathon training - TheEd - 04-09-2011 hector I truthfully dislike marathon training as it can produce so many problems you have to get the calf muscle fixed before stressing it and if you do run then you don't run 13km with the last bit faster you do light running without trying to test the calf hope it all works out TheEd Half marathon training - Héctor - 04-09-2011 Yes I know. It was a mistake. I'm normally a reflective person, but this time I got carried away... Half marathon training - Héctor - 12-09-2011 Hi TheEd, completed my first marathon in 3h 46min. 37 secs. This is what I could do, maybe too quick at the beginning (around 1h 45 the first half, I was feeling it pretty easy), then from around 27 k I begin to slow down, and quite badly in the last 12. Maybe I should prepare it a little more the next time. Regards, Héctor Half marathon training - TheEd - 12-09-2011 The next time should be better and now you have the experience to work on nice going TheEd |
