Huh" alt="Huh" title="Huh">
Sorry for the ignorance. I still don't quite follow.
I'm not sure what a 10k pace session is vs. a 5k pace session?
The only pace sessions I'm aware of are the 4x2km day, the 6x1km day, the single 5km day and the last day, "race day'.

Do you mean one week do the 4x2, second week 5km, third week 6x1, 4th week 5km again?
Thanks!

hi wookie, somehow missed this post

a mixture of a 10k pace training session: 2k @ 10k pace followed by 1600m @ 10k pace then 800m @ 10k pace .. Rest 90 seconds between and then x 2 if feeling up to it

the 5k pace sessions could be 1000m @ 5k pace .. 800m @ 5k pace .. then 400m @ 5k pace Rest 60 to 90 seconds .. x 2 if feeling up to it

No worries at all!

Oh, that looks interesting.

So one week do the first mixture, second week do the second mixture, then cycle through that for awhile?
I'll give it a try and report back!
Getting use to hockey was actually harder than I thought. Got a bit more sore on day 2. Then I did legs on the weekend (light squats with 60 lbs), weight free one legged squats and one legged 20 lbs deadlifts and I could barely walk for two days. Hadn't done legs since pre-lockdown but expected my summer of running and activity to have made me a bit more ready... oh man.
Thanks, have a great weekend! Will report back in a few weeks
