5km training - beatule1 - 11-03-2011 Hi TheEd, So my first run was just today.. I felt worse on Monday and Tuesday so I had to postpone all my training until today.. All week no training - I thought I will go crazy! But I felt healthy yesterday so I ran and trained today.. I ran for 30min outside and felt fine! I couldn't feel any illness or weakness or hardness on my lungs! I was surprised! so I think I'm back on track.. Beatule P.s. Today 1,5km in 5:44 But my legs felt very stiff and heavy after Monday's come back session! so I'm guessing I'm about the same..? Any runs? Beatule 5km training - TheEd - 16-03-2011 this was too many runs in a row after being off have at least 2 days no running, you can go for a light walk tomorrow and then consider getting back to the routine from the weekend or even from Friday you should have been quicker than 5:44 and all I can put it down to is too much running after the layoff before the 1500 next week should be better TheEd 5km training - beatule1 - 18-03-2011 Hi TheEd, :o: I'm sorry.. I rested 2days completely from running and I did today 20min ~ 13km/h, felt really good! I won't be able to do anything tomorrow as I'm doing motorbike course! But will be fine with Sunday.. I somehow missed this you would have had the same session as 3 x 5 minutes paced at 75% effort with 90 seconds easy in-between hope you able to fit it in TheEd 5km training - beatule1 - 23-03-2011 Hi TheEd, That's ok yesterday I ran in a morning for about 30min as didn't know what to do, so I did 3x5min today did on 15km/h with 90s rest. Felt fine! and there was enough rest. Anything tomorrow? Beatule |
