the good thing is that you did around 4 minutes of paced running

so that will need to do

1hr run either today or tomorrow

and Saturday will be a paced run

so let's see how it goes

ps.. I know you don't run on a Thursday but still mention it as a run day, if ever u want to slot it in

I think I mentioned before that I'm ok with running on Thursdays again except I can't do to track work that day as wouldn't have time to get to it.. But normal runs is fine..
I'll do 1h tomorrow early morning Smile

Hi TheEd,

I did 1h today.

Unfortunately I have 2 manic weeks coming..
I will be very busy this week and then Im flying home for wedding and will be away for a week. So no track sessions for me..Sad
I still will be able to do long runs or paced/trial runs..
Here's the days when I'll be able to run:
Monday (tomorrow) - fine with long run
Tuesday - just short, I thought I could do 4-5km fast to work?
Thursday - fine with 1h run
then going away to wedding so no training untill Monday..
Monday (5th) - fine with 1h
the rest of that week should be able to do around 3 runs (long or short)
back to London Saturday the 12th July- back to normal..Smile

this looks good B .. for the quick running you can do anything between 3km and 6 km with a warm up / warm down included for each paced session

Hi TheEd,

I'm back!Smile I managed to do 3 runs last week. 2: 1h and 1: fast over 3km. Sorry no time for short run as my watch died again! My last run was yesterday (1h).

I feel queit fat after all my mums food, wedding cakes and milion of ice cream... So might not be as fast as usual..

welcome back B .. maybe you would like to consider doing a 1500m time-trial to assess where you are currently .. your hope is definitely under 6 minutes Wink

we can consider getting back to a quality session next Tuesday

this weekend either Friday or Saturday you can run an enjoyable 3km paced in a round 14 minutes with a 1hr run the day after .. then Tuesday you know what follows Wink
