Hi TheEd,

Just now returned! Unfortunately couldn't make any runs during the weekend.. Sad my last one was Thursday morning. I am back to normal today. Shall I do 1h today? Track I could do tomorrow/Friday or weekend..

I'm feeling heavy and slugish after 4days not training!:mad:

maybe consider doing two 1hr runs during the week and then a 5km paced run over the weekend then one more 1hr run and then you can return to quality next week Tuesday

this sounds like an idea

I did 2 hour runs on Tuesday and Thursday and today morning paced 5km: distance was measured by google maps (my watch battery died again!!!), not really sure how accurate it was as I did it in 20:31 and I didn't feel dead! I pushed myself hard enough but def didn't feel as on a race days... Maybe my 10h sleep helped?!Wink

I am still waiting for race confirmation if I can get in to this month.

Could I do longish run Monday morning as I have exam later, helps to put my head together..? And then Tuesday or Wednesday track?Smile

Hi B .. a 1hr run should be fine for Sunday or Monday

and then you can consider a quality session Tuesday

how come you doing 2 hr runs all of a sudden, be careful you don't hurt yourself as that is quite a pick up in time on feet

Tuesday .. 5 x 800m Rest 60 second .. 2:50 to 3 minute max

Rest 2 minutes then 1km as you feel

Disaster!!! Sad

I am so sorry but i couldn't finish as you asked.. I'm just shattered and exhausted I think after exams and sleepless nights for revision..
My legs and body just didn't work together today..
My times:
800 - 2:55
800 - 3:02
800 - 3:08
800 - 3:18 (really bad!)
800 - 3:18
1km - 4:15 literallly no energy left..

it still isn't a bad session especially if you fatigued

please let me know in future when you sleeping poorly or under stressful situations and we can have a more relaxed approach

Hi TheEd,

Hope all are good for you.

I did yesterday nearly 50min. Felt ok, not my peak, but much better than Tuesday.. Shall i do 1h tomorrow? I think I'm recovered now. Had lots of sleep, day naps and ate well.

No race for me this month... Sad
But I am definitely in next month 30th July. Shall we hit it hard!!?;-)

sounds like a plan B .. let's get you running and up & at it

build it back up to 1hr

and then we can see if we can do some faster running towards next week
