I will do today 30min easy and tomorrow 60min easy. Friday rest.

What pace should I aim for saturday 5k?

VR is this a higher am pulse than normal?

My morning resting pulse is usually higher then afternoon or evening resting pulse. I have some problems with hiatal hernia so laying down makes my stomach push my heart.

My resting HR can go down to 50bpm.

OK .. when things are a bit difficult do you check your pulse to see if it is elevated

5 beats higher is not so much a problem however in your case where it goes above 60 is when you know something is amiss and best to take it easy
