am pulse is on waking up .. rested and relaxed .. even while in bed if you want

rest day tomorrow would do no harm

Tuesday you can consider a 30 minute run at anticipated 10k race pace

BUT .. don't run crazy

feel comfortable but at a slightly faster pace than normal easy runs

start of easy and build up the tempo

you meant to feel good doing this and you should feel as though you could do more

Today, I had my pulse rate taken shortly I woke up - it's back to 60.

No ache on my calf muscles or ankle from yesterday's run; maybe because of the 10-15mins break...?

I ran 30mins at anticipated 10k race pace on treadmill today... I forgot to note the distance covered!!!!! The run was managable.

- Feeling a little on the down side.

you over the sniffles, legs feeling OK and you in a positive state of mind?
- I'm almost recovered from the flu and cough.
- My legs felt somewhat heavy today when I ran.
- No, I'm not in a positive state of mind. Feeling nervous and self-doubt kicks in.
Today's run was a tough one, mentally. Felt lousy after the run and began to wonder if I have what it takes; both physical and mental to complete the race.

Will be good to know how I cope and overcome myself in the race...

OK .. rest tomorrow and then Wednesday .. you can have a pleasant gallop

someone spoke to me today, they can run probably a 35 minute 10k .. they also spoke about self doubt before their race

so you no different

just don't read too much into it

you are going to be fine

Pulse for today - 60.

I went to the gym today. Ran 15mins on the treadmill and did weights for 45mins.

What's for tomorrow?

its all easy galloping now

so 30 minutes nice and easy with the last 10 minutes of the 30 at an enjoyable increase

the last 10 minutes is to gain confidence and is meant to be fun
