5km training - beatule1 - 08-10-2009 Good evening TheEd! I did my morning run today for 37min! felt so good! unfortunately not sure how far was that as was runnning around my area.. Beatule 5km training - TheEd - 09-10-2009 rest day today and then your longest run on Saturday of 1hr this will be your longest run of the 5k training program Rest Sunday and Monday a quality session Hope you have a grand weekend TheEd 5km training - beatule1 - 09-10-2009 Will be completed! looking forward to it! Have a good weekend too! Beatule 5km training - beatule1 - 10-10-2009 Completed! exactly hour! Beatule 5km training - TheEd - 11-10-2009 magic Beatule was it easy and comfortable? TheEd 5km training - beatule1 - 11-10-2009 Ye wasn't too too hard, but tried to keep little more than avarage speed for me.. Was good though! What am I doing tomorrow? Had million of carbs today (was in a food festival!) so ready to work it of!!! Beatule 5km training - TheEd - 11-10-2009 Monday is 6 x 600m with 200m Rest where are you able to do this session or where do you intend doing it? the pace would be 10 seconds faster per k than the 1000's chat about session beforehand Cheers TheEd ps.. what kind of warm up routine and warm down routine do you do? 5km training - beatule1 - 11-10-2009 Ok! I think I'll have fun tomorrow! allways looking forward to intervals sessions!! I have just treadmill option tomorrow, that track not sure when will be opened.. longer or timing runs I do outside otherwise don't know exact distance.. Warming up- jog and cooling down- jog+stretches. When I'm in a gym I can do something else..? Thank you! Beatule 5km training - TheEd - 12-10-2009 OK great .. stick to your normal warm up & warm down routine your rest in-between 600's is 60 to 90 seconds and I know on the treadmill runners perfect the jumping off the moving belt quite well beware, that session can be quite a 'killer' with the 60 second rest Enjoy TheEd 5km training - beatule1 - 12-10-2009 Good evening TheEd! I just know found your last msg!!! I'm already after a run! I did 200m rest instead as from your previous text.. I think it was about over a minute .. Hope didn't make big difference..? Was good! I felt ok! All 600's went well, very similar, maybe just the last one felt little harder. I would say all session i felt about 85-88% of max effort. Just the last 100m of intervals i was watching the distance..(how much left) 600m felt short as i think my mind is still used to long intervals (prepairing for my previous race). I really love short sprints, even when i had long training to do i used to throw in some 100 sprints with all treadmill's speed just for my own pleasure!:taped: I really wish to get on a track!! When and what's next? Thank you!! Beatule:laugh: |
