Hi TheEd,

What's my speed?Smile

Beatule

p.s. what do you think about those "toes trainers"?

5km training - TheEd - 09-03-2010

let's see how you cope with 3.45 to 3.50 per km

what exactly is 'toes trainers', please?

what are you using it for or hope to achieve?

Cheers

How many 1000s and what rest?

It's trainers which covers just your toes and imitates bare foot running..
I don't have it but there's lots of debate about them..

5 x 1k R60 to 90 seconds

I will look a little into but must be honest, I don't get excited about 'pop theories' which to me is what all this barefoot running is about

Enjoy the session

TheEd
ps.. you up early Wink

Exact name for trainers: Toe Huggers
I agree with you just was curious what do you think..Smile
I guess lots of people don't realise that city runners don't realy have grass or soft ground.. Just concrete and cement..
Same with raw food diet..Smile

So I did it!
All 5 1000s with 60s rest in between. There's no way my stubborness would let me rest for longer than minimum..Smile

First 3 were hard, but could manage ok say 87-90%
4th started getting tired - over 90%
5th as usual - my inside organs start playing up!! Finished all. Around 95% as had to shoot of to ladies..(sorry)..

Enjoyed the run though!! It's the best feeling when you complete hard sessionSmile
