5km training - beatule1 - 19-02-2010 Hi TheEd! Yeeee that looks fun session! urf: Beatule 5km training - beatule1 - 20-02-2010 Hi TheEd, Sorry for delay, busy day yesterday! So I had fun yesterday! As you said I did: 1000 on 16km/h - ok over 85% 2m R - enough 800 on 16,9km/h - oh dear! Started seemed easy and then - tough! 95% last 150m got like numb! 1m R - short 1000 on 16km/h again if i got right..? Little more tired than with first one, but massive diferrence from second one 10min cool down.. Track is not fixed yet... it's getting lighter for longer, so in the near future I should be able to travel to a further one.. Beatule 5km training - TheEd - 21-02-2010 1hr easy tomorrow and a small quality session on Tuesday or Wednesday (weds are difficult for you still?) I prefer Tuesdays just because i can train in the morning where wednesdays would be afternoon - not the best energy levels.. but i'll do as you think is the best! I'll have to confirm this in about a week as might go snowboarding that week..!! if so then the other would be a month after.. Beatule 5km training - TheEd - 22-02-2010 I thought there was a 5km the last Friday over every month in the park? edit: OK .. I missed it somewhat today 1hr .. then Wednesday warm up and then go for a 10 minute run at Friday's anticipated pace if memory serves me rightly the 5km is an evening run, so use Wed's run as a prep for Friday Cheers TheEd |
