Build up - Cursor - 10-03-2011 Hi Ed My week so far looks like this Mon: 35 mins easy Tue: 47 mins easy Wed: Rest Thu: 4 x 2K with 90sec rest at 4:00 to 4:05 per km Here are the splits for todays 2K session: 7:55 7:58 8:10 8:14 As you can see I started quicker than I was supposed to. I ran in the forest track and could only check my splits every 1K mark. It was not so easy for me to judge the pace and I rather go slightly quicker than I am supposed to rather than other way round. Well, the two first 2K's took their toll and for the last 2K, even if I thought I picked the pace up, I could not manage quicker than 8:14. There are uphills on this route .. but also downhills I do feel happy about the session, I am glad the first one is out the way now. Don't know how I would have coped with the 5th one ...
