For the build up period do I keep running with an average HR of 130-140 bpm as I have been? Resting HR was a little higher this morning, but this didn't seem to translate into a HR increase in my running. My weight has also dropped below 13 stone for the first time in over four years, so I should notice some differences when I come to do the quicker sessions. So far, so good! It was up again this morning, this time it did result in me having to go at a slower pace. I'm feeling healthy, although there is a sore throat thing going around the office. Could a lack of sleep cause a higher HR?
