5km training - TheEd - 25-01-2010 warm up then 4 x 800m Rest 2 to 3 minutes pace 2.50 to 3 minutes per 800m balance this out and don't go to fast session for Tuesday if you are able to Cheers TheEd 5km training - beatule1 - 25-01-2010 oh my goodness!! 2:50 for 800m! :duh: i'll have fun! urf: Beatule 5km training - beatule1 - 25-01-2010 Oh I forgot to tell.. Since this week I won't be able to train on Thursdays at all... I started evening studies and that day I work all day. I have to wake up at 6am and my studies will finish at 9pm.. Not happy at all!! That will last till end of May. Unless I'll feel like not sleeping one morning- so I can do something.. But it's nearly impossible that I skip my minimum 7h sleep!And when it's dark outside I'm scared there... Well i guess I'll have to work extra hard for not working out Thursdays!? Fingers x-ed i'll enter all of them. I will let you know as soon as they contact me. Beatule 5km training - beatule1 - 26-01-2010 massive protein milk shake with lots of berries after such a run! this i call dead fun training! literarly deadly but very good fun! but seriously i thought it will be much worse! i did all of them on 16,9km/h - 2:50min/800m. i forgot my resting times so i rested 2min in between as i was worried to over rest..:duh: first 800m was actually fine, i would say 88-90%max. i think at that point my brain was busy wondering how fast are my legs moving and watching other people staring at me.. :duh: second 800m was harder- i think about 93-95%max 3rd and 4th 800s tough! pushing me over 95%! but at the end of each i was thinking if i could push myself for longer.. and i think i could do at least half time longer if i have to.. and then die So over all that didn't kill me completely, but pushed my limits a lot! Rest - 2min. after 1st one was enough, after 2nd round would have needed just little longer, after 3d - would have needed extra 30s i guess, after 4th - cool down time, forgot to check time when i stopped breathing hard and people looked away from me.. :p Beatule 5km training - TheEd - 26-01-2010 well done B that is a massive step-up and should show you everything is all there nice and enjoy the easy days TheEd 5km training - beatule1 - 26-01-2010 Thank you TheEd Any easy runs before Saturday's race with myself?
