Quiquesubway 10k Training - Quiquesubway - 12-03-2009 I used to take my pulse when i woke up, before training and after, but i don't use or have a heart rate monitor. Guess I will start taking my pulse again. Talk to you soon. Thanks for your support! Don't loose your cool! Quique Quiquesubway 10k Training - TheEd - 12-03-2009 OK .. you mentioned Garmin and thought it also had a heart rate monitor facility Cheers TheEd Quiquesubway 10k Training - Quiquesubway - 12-03-2009 Nope, mine doesn't has that feature...that one was more expensive! Anyway, on Sunday I'm going out for 1hr 18-20 Quiquesubway 10k Training - TheEd - 13-03-2009 keep the easy runs during this adaptive period 'easy' the distance and pace are not important recovery between the quality sessions is most important once you have adapted to the cycles we can worry about pace Cheers TheEd Quiquesubway 10k Training - Quiquesubway - 13-03-2009 I wanted to tell you that next Sunday 22, Burger King is celebrating their annual 10K and I was hoping to go with my baby boy (1 yr old) and finish the circuit in +/- 50:00 with my jogging stroller. I don't mind running my long run in the morning and doing this in the afternoon. Please advise. The 29th there's a 5K and I was hoping doing the same. I will send you a list of all races I know of and those I wish I could run (race), alright? Regards, Quique Quiquesubway 10k Training - TheEd - 13-03-2009 That is grand Quique you could always race on the 29th, up to you TheEd Quiquesubway 10k Training - Quiquesubway - 13-03-2009 According to the program, I'm supposed to race on the 29th--So I guess I'll do the 5K race instead of running with my son. Half of the distance is uphill, then it goes down about 1.5/km and the remaining km is flat. Quiquesubway 10k Training - Quiquesubway - 15-03-2009 Hi Coach! Just returned from my long run, but have to tell you I felt a bit "heavy" and tired. Maybe's where I ran; i don't like it much, there are too many hills, but that's where my buddies wanted to go. I'll get back to you Tuesday. Until then, See ya! Quiquesubway 10k Training - Quiquesubway - 18-03-2009 Hello! Today's weather was cooler than other days. I also trained in the afternoon rather than early morning. I'm having some difficulty training with the Garmin, but I think my reps came out alright afterall: 16 mins warm-up 1Km @ 3:56 w/ 1:02 rest 2Km @ 3:58 w/ 1:03 rest 3Km @ 3:56 (had a sip of water) w/ 1:00 rest 4Km @ 3:56 w/ 1:00 rest 5Km @ 3:56 (water) w/ 1:04 rest 6Km @ 3:50 *went out of pace cool down- 3Km The trouble I'm experiencing with the watch is that I don't know how to set it up in order to be able to pace myself every 400mts. Instead it provides a lap pace (which tells me what my pace is and where am I aiming at). With a regular watch you set it in chronometer and you are able to know your time every 100mts. I'll figure it out somehow:mmm: Waiting for your feedback, Regards Quique Quiquesubway 10k Training - TheEd - 18-03-2009 Quique, this looks a good session where did you do this session? nice going TheEd |
