Is it normal that after the effort made, to have the pulse rate a little over the normal. I was in 44 bpm and today I woke up around 50. I didn't check it yesterday. Now, sitting in front of the computer it is normal between 43 and 45. I'm having trouble sleeping more than 6 hours, and usually don't get to bed early... Half marathon training - Héctor - 21-05-2011 Hi TheEd, just to let you know, I wasn't able to begin with the cycles this past week. I made 8km runs on sunday and monday, a 12 km run on tuesday, half an hour rowing machine and some upper body work at the gym on wednesday, but on thursday I was feeling the symptoms of a cold. I'll rest until tomorrow and try to begin next cycle on tuesday. Rgds. Only managed to do 4 2k repetitions today the times were 8:12, 8:15, 8:24, 8:20. Heart rate maxed at 174 on the first 2, 180 in the third and last, down to 134 at rest. Very tough session.
