Hi TheEd,

As I had a feeling - worst happened.. 20:26 ! So gutted!
I guess I need excuses for that (make myself feel better) - the course was changed from usual flat to 2 laps with heel!!!!?(due to Christmas stuff) I just couldn't breath after each heel, it slowed me down a lot.. and other -I wrote in a private msg. And my own fault! Previous party weekend!And constant Christmas dinners and lunches...ah..

Ok Im done my excuses can be guilty now.. I'm so disappointed.. Sad just 1s. Better!!

Hi B .. no need for a public flogging just yet .. this wasn't a bad performance

you have mentioned that they changed the course so you had to climb 2 hills

this in itself would slow you down by a minimum of 5 to 10 seconds a hill considering the length of the hill and the recovery from the hill before being able to get back on target pace

and do realise .. you can't be in champion form for every race

it just doesn't work that way .. a thing called life does get in the way on occasions

head up .. the next time will surely be better and with that said

when is the next race?

hope your weekend went well..

what's for tomorrow? I completely rested all weekend, so will be full of energy tomorrow Smile I think I won't be able to train just Friday the 25th Christmas day, but other days I'll be fine as will have my trainers with me away. Also will feel bad after Christmas lunch Smile

to make things easier for this week .. do 1hr runs 2 to 3 times this week and then next week we can start up with the 1000's again

and enjoy the Xmas lunch

Good evening TheEd,

Hope you had lovely Christmas and got lots of presents!Smile

I feel slightly as a baloon!Smile but managed to do 3 runs and a few other trainingsSmile I did 2 of 1h runs during the week, and today 40min run as my boyfriends leg was hearting so had to do it shorter...!!:mad: Smile

What shall I do next?
