He'll be fine! I managed to run 74 mins @ 5:05 /k average I'm feeling better now, although a little bit tired. Quiquesubway 10k Training - TheEd - 21-07-2009 wow Q .. hope the little man is fine and that the stress in the home is not too high this is when running should help lower stress, just don't run too hard during stressful times TheEd Quiquesubway 10k Training - Quiquesubway - 24-07-2009 hey! Quiquesubway 10k Training - TheEd - 24-07-2009 Coming along nicely but quite interested to see how the 1000's go .. as I believe you have a bit in reserve to run faster equivalent to a sub 40 minute 10k that session have a grand weekend TheEd Quiquesubway 10k Training - Quiquesubway - 24-07-2009 I gave little bit of thought today to those 1000s' and considering how well i did yesderday, i may try a 3:45-pace or better. Agree? You know? This is my first long weekend in over 2 yrs! It's possible i go for a ride in my new bike tomorrow=) Take care and thanks for your support! Q Quiquesubway 10k Training - TheEd - 25-07-2009 That should be good TheEd Quiquesubway 10k Training - Quiquesubway - 25-07-2009 Hi! I ran 10mi earlier this morning. It's 4pm now and just returned from a 33Km bike ride. It was hot, but it felt alright! Bye! Q Quiquesubway 10k Training - Quiquesubway - 29-07-2009 Hi! Although i did good times i ran under a lot of stress (tired, hot, humid, thirsty and hungry)--yesterday was not a balanced day for me. I know running should always be fun and should help me relax, but i didn't figure that out until after i started my practice. Warm-up 20 mins with 4 back to backs *after each rep i had a sip of water 1Km @ 3:46 w/ 1:00 2Km @ 3:51 w/ 1:00 3Km @ 3:51 w/ 1:24 (decided to rest 30 secs more) 4Km @ 3:52 w/ 1:30 5Km @ 3:55 w/ 1:33 6Km ...quit @ 200mts:noway: In general i struggled with my breathing (because of the heat and humidity) and i also felt dehydrated? I think the cycling has something to do with it because my legs felt tired. Nevertheless, compared to the times i was doing maybe it had nothing to do:confused: When i got home i was feeling more tired than usual. Didn't took a bath, sat on a sofa and stood there until 6am My whole body aches:confused: I planned yesterday to go cycling early today, but i just can't. I'm so tired. Hope to feel better by 6pm when i was planning in going for a 30 min easy run. Best regards, Q.. Quiquesubway 10k Training - TheEd - 29-07-2009 cycling can certainly fatigue the legs and I would recommend you do not cycle a day or 2 before the quality sessions which are mainly the 2000's and 1000's you will bounce back from this so stay positive TheEd Quiquesubway 10k Training - Quiquesubway - 30-07-2009 yeah well, guess you're right! Thing is that it's the new toy... i was expecting better (all at 3:45) but it didn't went all that bad, right? i didn't run today, but did 1hr cycling at the trainer. Will go for an easy run tomorrow |
