I did 1h run today, slow as was with slow runner... It's hard..Smile

while I didn't forget, whats the best way for warming up on a race day?
I've seen a few fast runners doing little sprints and read about it too..?

stick to your normal routine for this race and then after this one we look to see whether anything new is necessary

the way you warm up for a race should be the way your warm up for a quality session

Dear coach,

I'm disappointed with myself..Sad same session felt so much harder than last time!! It was around 95% with all 3x 1000s!
I hope I didn't ruine it with my indulgences over the weekend...
But Sunday I was feeling fine when I went for 1h run... Maybe because I was slightly edgy just before the run today as forgot my iPod and running top..And didn't have enough sleep last 2nights as yesterday had important exam.. I very hope that's what made me week today.. Sad:confused:

call that your burn out

now for the race

you shall be fine

if you can run at that level during the race you will achieve your goal

look for the same discomfort

nice easy 20 to 30 minutes with the last 10 minutes at faster pace
