Have fun Wink

Quiquesubway 10k Training - Quiquesubway - 13-05-2009

Hey! I have a lot of work and so less time to rest. Anyway, i decided to do the 2000's today because tomorrow i'm opening the store and don't get off until 6pm. I will go for a 30 min easy tomorrow.

Guess the time i did reflects my tiredness. On the other hand, i have restructured my eating habits and quit sugars and "bad carbs". I'm positive i'll be able to loose 5 pounds or more by june 28th.

Total training time 1hr 22min (17kms)

Warm up @ 20:01

2KM @ 8:03.35 w/ 1:30
2KM @ 8:00.15 w/ 1:30 *sip water
2KM @ 8:03.03 w/ 1:30
2KM @ 8:16.03 w/ 1:30 *sip water (lost focus)
2KM @ 8:15.04 (simply tired)

Cool down

Best regards,

Quique

you did the session and if you feeling tired you need to maintain your body with the correct rest and eating, don't cut back on your eating but watch more what you are taking in and DO NOT cutback on your carbos after a 2000m session, you need your carbohydrates for the training you doing

got it! thanks

BTW, and i don't know how to explain it, but aparently, last Saturday's 5K race was certified by the local running comission as having 3.1 miles... the reason i'm telling you is because they say that my official race result was 19:47 not 19:52

After today's 2000's session i had an 8oz oatmeal, with swiss cheese toasts (no butter), a 16oz freshly squeezed o.j., 1 banana and a 6oz coffee; 2hrs passed and i had a bannana. For lunch i had a double turkey flatbread with lots of salad, vinegar, ketchup and mustard; 2 hrs latter 1 Ensure. For dinner i had a 8" wheat veggie pizza (all Subway restaurants at PR sell pizza). Drank about 40oz of water. Is that ok?

Hi Quique, I don't want to become too involved with your diet because I am not a nutritionist however

you can break your day's eating into

breakfast

snack

lunch

snack

supper

snack

for your snacks a slice of bread with no butter and some spread would be fine

that is more or less the balance you need to achieve, the breaks between each eating is 2 to 3 hours

Condolences well appreciated by my inlaws! Just returned last night from their home. So little sleep in these three days. Stayed home after work in order to recuperate for tomorrow. Wanted to run 10K relaxed today and 1000's tomorrow...
This Friday i'm running the 10 miles i told you about last week. Should i go for the 1000's tomorrow? I haven't run since Sunday.

Thanks
