Kenenisa Bekele looking for fast time in athletics arena in Hengelo.
Kenenisa Bekele, multiple world champion, Olympic champion and world record holder on the 5000m, will come to the World Challenge League meeting in Hengelo this weekend. Bekele will be looking for a fast 5000m in the Dutch athletics arena of the FBK-Games.
Last weekend the Ethiopian running legend won the 10.000m in Diamond League Eugene. He ran the world best time of the year. Bekele has been selected by the Ethiopian federation for the World Championship team later this year in Moscow, based on his result in Eugene.
In Hengelo Bekele will go for a fast 5.000m, to try and qualify on this distance as well. He especially chose for the FBK-Games, that historically has fast results on this distance.
