Athletics Canada selects team for Doha 2019
OTTAWA – Athletics Canada announced their team of 49 athletes who have been selected to represent Canada at the 2019 IAAF World Championships taking place in Doha, Qatar, from Sept. 27 to Oct. 6. All events will be held at Doha’s Khalifa Stadium with the exception of the marathon and race walk that will take place at Doha Croniche and will see athletes run along the Doha Bay and the city’s seafront. Ottawa – Athletics Canada announced today the hires of Jared MacLeod, Kayla Cornale and Alison Legenza. MacLeod and Legenza fill the new roles of National Team Program Operations Manager and Eastern High Performance Hub Manager while Cornale steps into the position of Para-athletics Development and Talent Identification Lead. 2013 Hall of Fame inductees
Ottawa – Athletics Canada’s Hall of Fame will grow by ten when the class of 2013 is officially inducted in Moncton, New-Brunswick on June 20, 2013. Olympians to Penn Relays
OTTAWA – Athletics Canada is pleased to officially announce today the team that will represent Canada in the USA versus the World portion of the 2013 Penn Relay Carnival in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania later this month. Penn Relay Carnival takes place at Franklin Field April 25 to 27 with more than 22,000 athletes from 60 countries participating in 450 races. [Read more…]

AC identifies 2012 awards finalists

The winners will be unveiled next Wednesday December 19, and will be honoured during the 2013 Canadian Championships in Moncton, N.B.
